Barracuda Beach Hotel & Villas

Location: Barracuda Beach Hotel & Villas is an ultra-luxury hotel and villas nestled inside Condomínio Villas do Resende surrounded by a lush tropical forest in Itacare, in the south of Bahia, Brazil. 

How to get here: The nearest airport is located in Ilhéus, 70 km from Itacaré. The road from the airport to the hotel is beautiful and the journey takes approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes. From Salvador the trip is longer, and the road is not as good. There is also a heliport.

Structure: The  17 suites are in two adjoining buildings. One building consists of the restaurant, an infinity pool surrounded by sun loungers, a poolside bar, a comfortable social area on the ground floor and 5 suites on the first floor. The other 12 suites are in the adjoining part of the hotel connected by a wooden deck. All the suites have a balcony with seating and a view of the ocean and the rainforest. The luxury houses provide a complete experience of well-being and privacy. Each villa has from 4 to 8 suites, decks, swimming pool, central bungalow with social area and kitchen, private suites, and external gourmet area.
