This 7-day kitesurfing course for beginners is organized in the small fisherman village of Atins, which is one of the gateways to Lencois Marahenses National park, located in the north-eastern part of Brazil. Learn to kite with professional guides, using brand new equipment, in the best spot ever. Lessons are given by a team of experienced IKO-certified instructors. Located at the mouth of a river that joins the Atlantic Ocean, Atins has epic kiteboarding conditions and is ideal for beginners interested in making the first steps in this awesome sport. Lessons are scheduled at low tide, when the water is shallow and there are no waves. Atins has constant cross-shore and cross-onshore winds, endless flat warm waters, crowdless beaches and a super relaxed vibe. Ride on crystalline natural lagoons and in the open sea. Besides kitesurfing, discover a wonderful landscape of endless dunes and thousands of crystal clear rainwater lagoons. The wind season is between July and January during which the wind speed ranges from 15 to 30 knots. The length of the daily training sessions can be altered, depending on your time availability. Travel in an active way, learn new skills, disconnect and recharge in the middle of nature. The program is an excellent choice for adults and children alike and includes accommodation at small boutique hotels with a lot of comfort and charm. You can arrive either in Sao Luis or in Jericoacoara, and we will pick you up, depending where you land. We can tailor this itinerary to suit your plans by changing the length of the trip or the order of activities.
*This course is focused on beginners. Advance riders can go on a downwind with different lengths, choose to kite on the lagoons of the Lençóis Maranhenses Park, or combine a downwind with kite sessions on the lagoons. Equipment, assistance support and professional local guide will be arranged.
