Muita Paz

Location: Muita Paz is located on the beach, surrounded by coconut trees, in the charming village of Atins, in the state of Maranhao, Brazil. There are many things to do in the area and you might easily fall in love with the place. 

How to get here: There are two options:

Fly to Sao Luis (SLZ). Here you have to take a land transfer till Barreirinhas, and then a boat transfer on Rio Preguicas till Cabure, followed by another boat crossing to Atins. Distances are long and an overnight in Barreirinhas would be needed to break the journey.

Fly to Jijoca (JJD) or to Fortaleza (FOR). Coming from the other side takes a longer time and also requires at least one overnight in Parnaiba or Barra Grande, to break the journey. Then you would continue by road to Tutoia and Cabure, followed by a boat crossing to Atins.

Structure: The Lodge offers exclusive chalets with ocean views, a few steps from the beach, surrounded by a wonderful garden. With a charming design and decoration, super ventilated, bright and very comfortable; they are ideal for those looking for privacy and comfort.

Why staying here: Even though Atins in very remote, this little pousada offers comfort far from the rest of the world. Stay a few more days rather than just passing by. Practice SUP, horse riding, trekking with guides, kitesurfing etc.
