International flights are not included in the package price. We give you the freedom to book the flights yourself, use miles and choose your preferred airline, and if you are stuck we can help you find the right connections. The starting point is Marseilles Airport (MRS) which has good connections to the major European and international cities. The departure airport is Nice (NCE), which is also very well connected, globally.

Alternatively, there is a TGV high-speed train stop in Marseille, when coming from Paris.

This is a sample itinerary and prices are correct at the time of writing. We can tailor it to suit your plans by changing the length of the trip or the order of activities. More days can be added. 

The best time to visit Provence is from April to June or from September to November, when the weather is mild and there are fewer crowds. During these seasons, temperatures are not high and crowds are not around. In the spring everything smells divine and in the fall the vineyards are filled with ripe grapes ready for harvest. July and August can be quite hot and it is very crowded.

Day 1 - Marseille

Today explore the many facets of Marseille. Start with a guided tour from La Canebière and the bustling Noailles quarter with its vibrant markets. Continue to the Old Port and visit MUCEM. Learn about the history of the Mediterranean region. Then, wander through the winding streets of Le Panier and visit the Old Charite. Later, drive to Notre-Dame de la Garde, a magnificent basilica with panoramic views. Afterward, take a scenic drive through Vallon des Auffes, a picturesque fishing village, making your way to Les Goudes, a tranquil and idyllic village nestled between cliffs. Stop for lunch at Les Pirates, a charming restaurant serving fresh seafood. Overnight at Hotel C2.

Day 2 - Les Calanques

After breakfast, take in the breathtaking natural beauty of the region. Embark on a scenic drive along the stunning Route des Crêtes or Col de la Gineste to the charming coastal town of Cassis. This picturesque road offers stunning views of the Mediterranean coastline, with rocky cliffs, crystal-clear waters, and rugged landscapes. Once arrived in Cassis, take a boat tour of the Calanques, a series of breathtaking rocky inlets with turquoise waters, limestone cliffs, and hidden coves. Explore the stunning sites of En-Vau, Sormiou, and Morgiou with the beautiful limestone cliffs rising from the sea. Learn about the conservation efforts to protect the Calanques. Later, return to Cassis. Overnight at Maison 9.

Day 3 - Wine & Beach Towns

In the morning, take a walk in Parc du Muguel, a beautiful park in La Ciotat. Afterwards, head inland to Domaine de la Bégude for a wine tasting tour. This family-run vineyard has been producing wines for generations, combining innovation and respecting the environment. Learn about the history and culture of wine-making, sample some of the delicious wines and enjoy an al-fresco picnic lunch. Continue to Castellet, a 11th-century hilltop village with winding streets, stone houses, and picturesque views of the surrounding countryside. Then, continue along the coast, stopping at the charming towns of Saint-Cyr-sur-Mer with its bustling markets, the beautiful sandy beaches Bandol, the colorful fishing port Sanary-sur-Mer, and the historic port La Seyne-sur-Mer. Overnigth at Mas Cimai.

Day 4 - Iles d'Hyeres

Today take a boat tour to the islands of Porquerolles, Port-Cros, Levant, and Bagaud. Escape from the bustling mainland and enjoy some of the most beautiful beaches in the Mediterranean, with unspoiled nature and crystal clear waters, perfect for swimming and snorkeling. Appreciate the stunning scenery and experience the laid-back lifestyle. Explore on your own pace, as each island has its own charm. Porquerolles has white sandy beaches, turquoise waters, vineyards and olive groves. Port-Cros is a protected national park, with stunning hiking trails and beautiful beaches. Levant has a charming village and unique flora and fauna. Bagaud is best for scuba diving and snorkeling. Overnight at Le Mas Du Langoustier.

Day 5 - Flowers & Saint-Tropez

Today visit the picturesque village of Bormes les Mimosas, located in the heart of the Massif des Maures mountains. It is a wonderful place to explore on foot. Wander through the quaint streets, taking in the abundant colorful flowers and the charming architecture. After lunch, continue to the charming hilltop villages of Gassin and Ramatuelle that offer panoramic views of the sea. Afterwards, head to glamorous Saint-Tropez, the place for luxurious yachts, high-end shopping and a vibrant nightlife. Stroll along the harbor, enjoying the lively atmosphere. Despite its glitz and glamour, Saint-Tropez also has a rich history and culture, with many museums and historical sites to explore. Overnight at La Bastide des Salins.

Day 6 - Beaches, Wine & Art

Take a morning stroll along Plage de Pampelonne, then continue to the scenic vineyard of Chateau Sainte Roseline for wine-tasting. Later, head to the glamorous Cannes. Take a walk along Promenade de la Croisette, lined with palm trees and upscale boutiques. After lunch, head to Antibes. Discover the lively old town with narrow streets and enjoy a scenic walks along the coastline. Visit the Picasso Museum, which holds an impressive art collection. For the evening, drive to the charming medieval village of Mougins with art galleries, museums, gastronomic restaurants and picturesque fountains. Pablo Picasso spent the last years of his life here. Overnight at Hotel de Mougins.

Day 7 - Perfume & Hilltop Villages

Begin the day in Grasse, the capital of perfume. Visit the Fragonard Perfume Factory and learn about the history of perfume-making. Explore the town’s picturesque streets and boutiques. Continue to Gourdon, a beautiful village perched on a hilltop, offering panoramic views. Continue through Gorges du Loup, a picturesque canyon with dramatic cliffs and waterfalls, on your way to Tourrettes sur Loup, another medieval village with a rich history and stunning views. After lunch, head to two more medieval towns, Vence and Haut de Cagnes. Explore the narrow streets and historic buildings, learning about the rich history of these places. The village also offers breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. Overnight at Le 1932 Hotel.

Day 8 - Gardens & Beaches

Today visit the picturesque village of Saint-Paul de Vence and enjoy the stunning views of the surrounding hills. Next, visit the vineyard Chateau de Bellet, offering stunning views of the sea and the countryside. Continue to the charming town of Villefranche Sur Mer and wander through its narrow streets. After an al-fresco lunch, stroll along the coastal path of Saint Jean Cap Ferrat, with its crystal clear waters and the romantic gardens of Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild. Enjoy a peaceful afternoon on on of the most beautiful beaches in the region, finding your perfect private cove with crystalline turquoise waters. Swim, snorkel and get a tun. Overnight at Casa Musa.

Day 9 - Eze, Monaco & Menton

Today visit the picturesque Beaulieu sur Mer that boasts beautiful beaches and stunning architecture. Stroll along the seaside promenade, enjoy a relaxing swim in the azure waters and visit Villa Kerylos. Continue to Eze, a medieval village perched high up, offering breathtaking views. Explore the narrow streets and visit the exotic garden. Afterwards, head to Monaco, the epitome of luxury and glamour. Visit the Oceanographic Museum which has a fascinating collection of marine life. Then, head to the colorful town of Menton, situated on the Italian border. Explore the fascinating old town, the beautiful Basilica of Saint-Michel and the lush botanical gardens which offer great views of the sea. Spend a relaxing afternoon on the beach. Overnight at Casa Musa.

Day 10 - Nice & Departure

Spend this morning discovering the vibrant city of Nice. Visit the bustling markets of the old town, try a traditional socca crepe, made of chickpeas, and enjoy the lively atmosphere. The narrow streets of Nice once again remind you about the Provencal charm of southern French cities and the peaceful colours of this region will call you back for another trip. Maybe in another season, when there are other perfumes, other flowers and other seasonal fruits and vegetables. Drop your vintage car at the airport and take your flight home. Alternatively, extend your stay and travel inland to visit  the region of Luberon, or the scenic Verdon Gorge & Lavender Fields in July.
