International flights are not included in the package price. We give you the freedom to book the flights yourself, use miles and choose your preferred airline, and if you are stuck we can help you find the right connections. Return flights to Martinique start from £800 per person, depending on the connections and time of the year. Fly to Martinique Aimé Césaire International Airport (FDF).

For families and groups (starting with 5 pax), we can book domestic flights in Brazil, during the high season, and if the trip is part of a more complex itinerary. This is to ensure a seamless travel and no complications.

Best time to visit is from December to June. It is best to avoid the hurricane season lasting from July to November.

 

Day 1 - Arrival in Martinique

Today you will arrive in Martinique. You will be met on arrival and transferred to your hotel. Start your stay with one of the most beautiful beaches on the island: Les Salines. We will take you all the way to the beaches of the South. The popular beach is so long, you will easily find a shaded spot under a tree. In addition to its white sand and turquoise water, you will have a magnificent view of the famous Diamond Rock. For lunch, enjoy a fresh seafood plate at the restaurants right next to the beach. Day 2 - Snorkelling & Heritage

Today take your snorkeling gear and swim with turtles! The best beach is Anse Dufour. You won’t have to go too far from the shore – the turtles come almost to the edge of the beach. Later, walk to the nearby beach of Anse Noire and discover the authentic charm of its black sand. Go back to Pointe du Bout for lunch. After a tasty meal and relaxation, visit Maison de la Canne to learn about the sugar cane heritage in Martinique. Day 3 - Martinique Rhum

This morning, discover the Atlantic side of the island, at the Presqu’île de la Caravelle. Depending on your fitness level, choose a suitable trekking path. Stop for swimming in a beautiful bay, surrounded by mangroves. The place is called Treasure Bay, and it lives up to its name. The tour will take around 3 hours. For the afternoon, stay on the East Coast and visit the Fondation Clément, one of the most famous rhumerie in Martinique. They will explain everything about rhum making, followed by a delightful tasting session. Day 4 - Waterfall & Flowers

Today discover the North of Martinique. Spend the morning on the dark sand beach of Carbet and have your lunch in one of the various local restaurants with your feet in the sand. It is the perfect opportunity to discover local specialties such as accras, grilled fish, ti punch or coconut flan. For the afternoon, visit Saut du Gendarme waterfall, where you can even take a refreshing shower. After relaxation, visit Jardin de Balata, a beautiful tropical botanical garden with flowers and trees. For the more adventurous, there is also a path suspended between the trees, to admire the view from above. Day 5 - Boat Trip

Today hop aboard a catamaran and head to the Fonds Blancs of the East Coast. You will also discover different islets, inhabited by different species of iguanas. You’ll experience the baptism of the rhum, in shallow waters in the middle of the sea. Alternatively, take a boat and meet the dolphins on the North of the island. You cannot swim with them, but you will see them jumping around the boat. While in this area, go scuba diving and discover the wonderful aquatic world of Martinique. Day 6 - Sainte Luce

Today spend the morning on the golden sand beaches of Sainte Luce. Have a local lunch next to the sea. Depending on the season, some restaurants will let you choose your live lobster from their aquarium before serving it to you. Later, head to the rhum factory in Trois Rivières for another rhum tasting session. This rhumerie has windmill and the guided tour explains the history and manufacture of this type of special rum. Day 07 - Departure

Today is your departure day. After breakfast, the transfer to the airport will be organised according to your flight. Spend the rest of the day enjoying the relaxing moments. If you wish to extend your stay in the Caribbean, we also recommend discovering the stunning island of Saint Lucia, a lush tropical island with wonderful marine life, black sand beaches, cute coves and bays, therapeutic mud from the volcano and iconic Pitons.
