How to get here: To get to Lamu, you can fly from Nairobi, Mombasa or Diani. Alternatively, you can drive to Malindi and fly from there to Lamu. It is also possible to visit by land although it is a bumpy seven hour drive from Mombasa and at least four hours from Malindi. At Mokowe jetty a boat will pick you and bring you to the house.
