It’s the hottest period of the year on the east coast, with averages temperatures of 30°C. While there may still be rain in the east and north, April opens the doors to a tranquil shoulder season in Madagascar. Lemurs start breeding in April, the island is very green after the rainfalls and it is an excellent time to see wildlife. National parks reopen and lodges start to receive guests.
