









Location: Belo Beach is situated in the south-west of Madagascar, in Belo Sur Mer, a castaway fishermen village, 3 hours south from Morondava airport. In the village of Belo sur Mer it feels like the time stopped, it is joyful and relaxing to watch the dhows sailing. Swimming, walking, kayaking, snorkeling, or just relaxing in a sun lounger with a good book – in other words a dreamy vacation can be experienced here.
How to get here: Fly to Morondava (MOQ) and take a 4×4 transfer to the port then a boat transfer (2 hours) to Belo Sur Mer. The boat departs according to the tide and an overnight stay in Morondava might be required. Alternatively you can get here by land (3-4 hours).
Structure: Belo Beach has 18 wooden bungalows, places on the beach. At high tide the water comes all the way close to the pear of the hotel. There is a restaurant, a bar and a shared lounge, as well as a sun terrace with lounges and umbrellas. The accommodation provides a 24-hour front desk, room service and currency exchange for guests. One can enjoy a range of different massages
Why staying here: Although difficult to access, this place still retains the splendor of all its authenticity and no mass tourism is present here. It is one of the few nice hotels in the village.
