Location: Constance Tsarabanjina is located on a sacred islet in the north-western part of Madagascar, at about 40 miles from the island of Nosy Be, and is part of the Mitsio Archipelago. On the small peninsula of the eastern beach is found the tomb of the Sakalava kings of the Mitsio islands. Up to this day the people of the Mitsio islands venerate this place; they come here bringing their offerings (money, honey, rum). Les Quatre Frères (The Four Brothers islets), facing Tsarabanjina, on the north-west side, are mythical rocks where a large number of birds come to build their nests. These islets, are well-known for scuba diving.
How to get here: Fly to Nosy Be and take a boat transfer from Manga Soa Lodge before 16:00. The latest landing in Nosy Be should be at 14:00 for international flights and 14.30 for domestic flights.
Structure: Choose from one of the 25 beach villas at Constance Tsarabanjina. Every villa is unique and look out on to the sea. They are built with a thatched roof and have a private terrace. They are also equipped with fans, mini-bar, safe and kimono, a bathroom with shower and a separate toilet, a private terrace with two deck chairs. For each villa there are 2 loungers and 1 umbrella provided on the beach.
