Location: Famata Lodge is a rustic glamping located 15 km south of Toliara in Madagascar, near the beach of Ankilibe. You will have direct access to the beach located a few steps away from the hotel.

How to get here: To get here you will have to fly to Toliara (TLE) and then take a 25-min road transfer to Famata Lodge, which is located 6 km from the junction to St Augustin, near Tulear Airport. The journey to the city centre takes about 12-15 minutes.

Structure: Famata Lodge is a zen glamping oasis located around a freshwater lagoon nestles between the sea and the dry forest. Sleep outdoors under a mosquito net, above the treetops with an unobstructed view of the sea or in a room with sliding windows. Famata Lodge has a total of 14 bungalows located in the botanical garden composed of euphorbia. All bungalows have a shower with hot water and most
of them have a fan. The energy is entirely renewable with electricity and solar water heaters. The bungalows include a safe, a mini desk, and a bamboo sofa. You will be able to use WiFi.

Why staying here: Famata Lodge is one of the great glamping lodges in Madagascar, with really charming settings and close to great sites in the south of Toliara. It is child friendly and there is a great infrastructure, delicious food and the possibility to host groups, especially because the restaurant is large enough.
