Is July a good time to visit Madagascar? Yes, July is a dry month in Madagascar. Temperatures range between 22°C-28°C. Highlands can be chillier during the evening and at night, but the coast is spending for those dreamy beach breaks. In the highland areas in the middle of the island it gets very cool at night – Antsirabe even experiences occasional light frosts – but it soon warms up during the day. This is the time to watch the whales and hike in the beautiful rainforest. All the national parks are open and it is easy to get around as the roads are dry. July is already into the high season. Some of the reptiles are hibernating in July, but one can still see a variety of wildlife. We highly recommend visiting Madagascar in July.
