Location: The beautiful ecological lodge Manga Soa is located on the island of Nosy Be, in the north of Madagascar. The hotel is tucked away, far from the hustle and bustle of the island’s hotels and bars, but close to the airport, with breathtaking views of the ocean.
How to get here: Fly to Nosy Be (NOS) and take a 10 min transfer to the lodge.
Structure: The small hotel has 09 ocean facing villas, with all comforts: fan, TV, shower, mosquito net, private terrace with panoramic views. Wifi is present in the reception area, around the bar and the restaurant. There is a great massage room, where local Malagasy oils, hot stones, aromatherapy and Ayurvedic treatments and are used for relaxation, under the sound of the ocean. The restaurant serves great traditional dishes and the swimming pool is overlooking the ocean. The hotel is places in a quiet garden with mango trees.
Why staying here: for a private holiday away from the busy atmosphere of Hell-Ville. From June to September is the humpback whale season, while from September to November you can spot and snorkel with whale sharks. The coral gardens are accessible straight from the beach or deeper in the ocean.
