Natiora Green Lodge

Location: Natiora Green Lodge is located about 16 km to the north of Ambodifotatra, the capital of Sainte Marie Island, which is on the east of mainland Madagascar. Sainte Marie Island is the 2nd island of Madagascar after Nosy Be. This island has a lush green landscape and breathtaking beaches and bays. Its an ideal destination for a quality-time holiday.

How to get here: You can take a short 50-min flight from Antananarivo to Sainte Marie (SMS) or, alternatively, you can take a long 7-hour bus ride to Tamatave and then continue to Mahambo for another 3 hours, where you can take a ferry the next morning. The ferry takes around 3,5 hours. Once landed, take a road transfer of 1 hours and 15 min to the hotel.

Structure: Natiora Green Lodge is a real paradise for nature lovers and for those seeking peace and tranquility. Placed the middle of wild forests, volcanic rocks and a beautiful bay, it makes a vivid destination. There is a small waterfall from the Ikalalao forest that runs through the entire park of the lodge, creating a refreshing oriental garden. Here you will see several types of lemurs who roam around the lodge. There are 5 seaside view bungalows and 4 beach front bungalows with large panoramic terraces that give a magnificent view. The bungalows are simple but tastefully decorated and very comfortable.

Why staying here: This lodge is really green, surrounded by vegetation. You can practice yoga here and enjoy a great location to explore the island, as the lodge is right in the middle of it. The quality of a dream beach holiday here is truly underrated. Sainte Marie is lush, wild and tropical. There is no mass tourism here.
