Location: Relais du Kirindy is a simple rustic hotel with standalone bungalows, situated in the south-west of Madagascar, 45 min drive north from the famous Avenue of Baobabs and 1 h 15 min from Morondava.

How to get here: Fly to Morondava (MOQ). The lodge is located 53 km from the airport and there is a shuttle to the airport. The transfer takes 1 h 20 min.

Structure: Relais du Kirindy is a new hotel with 26 simple and cozy bungalows and 8 spacious family rooms. Each bungalow has a large bathroom and a terrace. The cozy bar-restaurant by the pool offers a relaxing atmosphere, with the giant guardian baobab trees in the backdrop. There are various games, a reading corner and a space for children. Due to the remoteness, please mind that electricity and hot water might not be available 24 hours. 

Why staying here: Relais du Kirindy enjoys an exceptional location close to the most emblematic sites of Morondava. Not to be missed is the beautiful sunset at the Avenue of Baobabs. There are various excursions in the Kirindy reserve to spot wildlife.
