The best months to visit Yucatan Peninsula is from November to April. During this period, the weather is mild to warm with minimal rainfall, providing comfortable conditions for outdoor activities and exploration. This season is perfect for enjoying the pristine beaches of Tulum, snorkeling in the clear waters, and exploring the archaeological sites. Visiting from June to August offers the unique opportunity to swim with whale sharks off the coast of Isla Holbox. While May to September can be warmer and more humid, it also brings fewer crowds, allowing for a more tranquil experience.

Day 1 - Arrival in Tulum

Day 2 - Snorkeling

Day 3 - Chichen Itza & Yokdzonot

Today, discover the legacy of the ancient Mayan civilization at the archaeological site of Chichen Itza. A local English-speaking guide will lead a tour of the most emblematic buildings, including the Pyramid of Kukulcan, the Temple of the Warriors, and the Observatory. Admire the intricate sculptures and reliefs depicting the ancient Maya’s life and beliefs. Day 5 - Coba & Nuevo Durango

Explore the archaeological site of Coba, named for its proximity to five lakes crucial for its development. Accompanied by an English-speaking guide, take a two-hour bicycle tour through the site, surrounded by lush trees. If preferred, opt for a bicitaxi. Discover the unique design and purpose of Coba, differing from other Mayan cities. The ancient white roads, or sacbé, lead to Nohoch Mul, the largest pyramid in the Yucatan Peninsula. Visit the Church Temple, Oval Temple, and the ball game court. Next, head to Nuevo Durango, a Mayan community. Whale Shark season runs from mid-May to mid-September, with the best viewing conditions in June, July, and August. Begin a unique adventure today. This approximately 8-hour experience offers the chance to see or swim alongside the largest fish in the world. Keep an eye out for rays, dolphins, and turtles as well.
